From Danielle, Founder of The Rocky Road House:

The Rocky Road House was launched after my daughter suffered food allergies and was unable to eat a lot of desserts including cakes.  With a love for marshmallows and chocolate and after numerous attempts to source allergy free rocky road I decided to experiment with various flavours and developed a gluten, egg and peanut free rocky road cake.  The rocky road cakes started out as a hobby and these cakes became the kids birthday cakes they took to school to share with their friends, then they became the Christmas cakes to give to their teachers at the end of the year which everyone admired and desired.

Over the next 2 years I had requests from friends and then friends of friends who wanted to order these cakes for their Christmas table centre piece and gifts for their children’s teachers and before we knew it the orders were coming in thick and fast.  I had so many close friends encouraging me to turn this into an allergy free business as they thought my product was amazing and they too could not get enough of it.  Many people wanting the product not only at Christmas time but available all year round and wanting to know where the closest stockist was and where they could buy it, only to hear I’m sorry we don’t have a stockist and we only do Christmas orders (I’d be sad to hear that too).

So, in 2012 we decided to let the rest of the world indulge in our rocky road products and so too came the evolution of “The Rocky Road House”.

Firstly we developed our 200g bars that quickly became a hit with orders coming through from all over Australia via email and then schools contacting us to order products for their fundraising events, we then developed our 100g rocky road bars (half the size of the original that I can have all to myself… yummm!). Today we have 8 flavours in two different sizes for everyone to enjoy. We are continually developing new flavours and products so we can expand our range.

So as we invite you to take a walk along our rocky road we hope you enjoy a piece of our world where our products are built with chunks of love.

Payment is accepted online through credit cards Only. I would be very happy to reserve the items for my customers if they can tell me, a date by when, they would be purchasing the item.


Shipping

Shipping available all over Australia.

Free standard shipping for order over $70 (sub-total excluding shipping costs). Orders are dispatched the following day of placement.

Low Shipping Rates Australia Wide: Australia Wide AU$7.99 for 0-500g, AU$12.99 for 0.5kg-3kg. Over 3kg - based on weight & delivery postcode.

Express shipping for $14 AUD. Orders are received in 1-2 business days

Yes, we combine your order automatically for the lowest possible shipping rate. Lowest shipping rate with combined postage is automatically applied in the cart or checkout pages.

Delivery Time: We pack and ship out your items within 1 business day from the order placement date. Weekends and Public Holidays may cause some delays. We use Australia Post and local Couriers to deliver orders. Please understand that their mistakes or inefficiencies may also cause some infrequent delays. In case of a delay, we will keep you informed.

All the orders are shipped with Tracking or Registered Post.


Refunds and Exchanges

Item can be returned for an exchange/refund if unopenend, in original packaging and is not tampered with in any way within 1 week of order receipt.

Item return costs are to be met by the Buyer.

The Australian Consumer Law provides basic rights for consumers to return goods that they have bought, including if they are faulty, don’t match samples, or doesn't perform as expected. Please contact us if you have any problems or concerns. We will get back to you very quickly.
